August 25, 2016 is a day to celebrate as the National Parks Service will be turning 100! After a century of service, the National Parks Service has transformed many of the Nation’s most beautiful parks into historic places to remember. The National Parks Service was officially established on August 25, 1916 by President Woodrow Wilson to help protect and preserve all of the Nation’s National Parks. Now 100 years later, the National Parks Service wants everyone to join in to celebrate their Centennial.
