Forever Living and Forever Resorts score
at the “BIG GAME”
Glendale, Arizona -
FOREVER RESORTS
partnered with FOREVER LIVING PRODUCTS
INTERNATIONAL, Get Outdoors USA, and the
American Recreation Coalition, from
January 31 through February 3, 2008, to
host Forever Outdoor Recreation Village
during the festivities surrounding the
Super Bowl in Glendale, Arizona.
Created to encourage public involvement
in the outdoors, many public and private
partners participated in the FOREVER
OUTDOOR RECREATION VILLAGE and brought
fi shing, boating, hiking, camping and
other healthy outdoor recreational
activities to the multitude of visitors
and residents of Arizona. “Children and
adults think they have less access to
nature. By bringing together a variety
of public access partners, we hoped to
show how easy it is to enjoy outdoor
activities in our national and state
parks and forests, and it’s not
necessary to travel long distances to
find them,” remarked John Schoppmann,
Executive Vice President of Forever
Resorts.
The Village gave kids and adults a
chance to experience hands-on
demonstrations
and encourage the importance of leading
active lifestyles and spending more time
participating in outdoor activities,
especially on public lands. Among the
fun things to do in the FOREVER OUTDOOR
RECREATION VILLAGE were high-tech
activities like geocaching, rock wall
climbing and even fishing. Visitors were
also able to get information on planning
visits to national or state parks,
forests and recreation areas, and even
take a tour of a new million dollar,
75-foot Forever Extreme Houseboat!
Fans also lined up to meet some of the
‘Gridiron Greats’, including Mike Ditka
and Jerry Kramer. Forever Living and
Forever Resorts handed out more than
10,000 aloe product samples to visitors,
which were a great hit with everyone!
All in all, the Forever Outdoor
Recreation Village was a great success.
